went for orientation as mentioned. it ended pretty fast. lesser than 30 mins i think. didn't notice the time. met the principal for the first time. she looked like my previous job boss, and lucky thing is, i feel that she is nicer in person than over the phone.

i was surprised when i see someone whom i have seen before. especially during my seremban study trip. she too, also went for it. she is a course-mate of mine, from another class of the same batch in my school. i have yet to talk to her personally today. she has her own K1 class to handle. it appeared to me that she is working there parmenently, unlike me. from what i heard from my principal, i am sent there to prepare me for future new centres. to get the experience, by starting to work with younger children.

this time round, i'm attached to the toddler class. age 12-36 months? i'm not too sure either, but the age is roughly there. this is my first time working with such young children. and i was told to work with the infants this coming thur for a short period of time. i was exactly imagining myself to work with infants yesterday.

principal told me i am consider lucky because i have a teacher(mentor) to follow, unlike my course-mate. she has to start taking her own class when she started. frankly, i'm glad with the mentoring thingy, because i love learning from others since i dun have the experience.

after orientation, i was asked whether if i want to go home or stay for a while. i chose to stay for a while. hence, i was back with the toddler class. expected, the children didn't wanna hold my hand when i asked them to, bringing them out for outdoor play. this is usual for them as i am still a stranger to them. mentor warned me that the children bites in this class, expected that too. witness two cases while i was there just now.

just like during my year 3 first semester attachment, although my mentor is a english teacher, i followed the chinese teacher instead. this time round it was because of there is another training teacher around to help. she is following the class english teacher. felt a little crowded when i tried to stick to my mentor.

went to JP right after to shop for a pair of slip-on shoes. in the end, i bought two pairs. mum was already home when i reached home. update her about my job and told her about something that i felt was really embarrassing. i didn't know how to wrap a diaper on a child! i was so embarrassed just now when i first tried it. the cleaner auntie saw me having difficulties, asked the chinese teacher to help me in the end. whew!

this week will be working from 9 - 6.30pm shift. except on thur. not sure about next week though.

25th March (Wed)
woke up early to get ready, check my bag for the last time before heading off to take the train to sch. was surprised to see my classmates whom are usually late for class reached earlier than me. but i'm glad for it. at least i'm not alone. when all 22 of us girls reached, we board the bus and off we headed towards the checkpoint. passed both singapore and malaysia checkpoint successfully. didn't use the scanner of the thumbprint at the checkpoint of singapore as there were lesser people at the manual (by people) than at the machine (scanner) area.

next stop was to board the bus at the malaysia checkpoint and off we headed to our first location - dragon fruit farm. halfway through we stopped at Yong Ping for a toliet break. bought epop and yg mags to read. upon reaching dragon fruit farm, i was amazed by the size of the farm. and there are so many dragon fruit trees! and another point to take note, dragon fruit trees bear both fruits and flowers! i didn't realised the flowers part until my last dinner at johor bahru restaurant where we got to drink dragonfruit juice! the fruit of the dragon fruit trees are so sweet! the flesh of the fruit is pink with black seeds! unlike what we usually see in singapore which is in white with black seeds. the lady whom explained to us about the fruits and staff regarding dragon fruit was so nice and friendly! she took lots of pictures with the girls!

after the visit to the farm, we headed towards malaca to have our lunch. it was a restaurant that i've been before with my parents during RC's malaysia visit. some of the girls were not really happy with the food unlike me. i feel that the food was okay. love the fruits though. so sweet! after lunch, we went to a bakery shop which was known for its 'Siew Pau'. they showed us how to make siew pau and brief us about the ingredients and steps made. the negative part of the shop is..i saw a lot of lizards on the walls of the shop ^=^

began our ride to our hotel. took less than an hour i guess. fall asleep on the bus.:P it was a 3 star hotel i guess. no breakfast provided in the morning. began charging my mp4 right away as i need it when sleeping. it's a habit for me, for not be able to sleep without my mp4 if i'm sleeping outside. went out for dinner right after. we were given 2 hours. one hour for dinner and another hour for shopping. bought a bag and starbucks for coffee. an hour for shopping is not enough!! slept at 10+ right after showering. woke up in the middle of the night afraid of oversleeping without realising it. and it was just 2+am in the morning. both hannah (whom i'm sharing the room with) and i felt that we have slept for a long time when we talked about it in the morning. lolx. perhaps because we slept really earli. didn't get a leg cramp for the first time when sleeping outside like i always do.

26th March (Thur)
woke up at 6.15am. took a shower first and started to pack up. left the hotel at 7.30am and headed for breakfast. ate wanton noodle for vegetarian. for the first time, we waited for the driver after our breakfast. Hannah was telling me about the flies.lolx..so random. she told me the flies in each country represent the people living in the country. for singapore, the flies are always flying really fast, difficult to catch - like us singaporean, always so kiasu. for malaysia, it will be easier to catch the flies as they are living in a slow and relax condition. so flies are lazier. hahaha..thinking back, what she said is true. ha!

went to visit the first centre right after. it was a enrichment centre. love the space and the decorations. they even have room for indoor play! too bad i forgot to take my phone down, so i didn't get to take any pictures. click helped me take a lot. have to get from her. for the second centre, it is in a private property house. but as compared to the enrichment centre, it appeared more run-down. very hot inside. both centres uses IT technology to teach their children using the Multiple Intelligence approach.

Lunch was next. in Malacca. watched Twilight on the bus. but fall asleep again. lolx. so like a pig. after lunch was a cultural tour. went to the first church built in malaysia. been there before too.

dinner was settled at Johor Bahru. where it was just next to the organic farm. i love the last dinner we had there. all the girls were! i realli like drinking dragon fruit juice. had 3 cups in total.lolx. were given time to visit the shop in the organic farm right after. didn't get to walk much as it was raining heavily.

soon after, at around 7+, we headed back to checkpoint. this time round, singapore checkpoint didn't go smoothly for me. both my thumbs couldn't get through the scanner. the person even asked me: "Do u have a lot of cuts on ur thumbs?"lolx..in the end, she let me passed without checking any further.

as mentioned, went for orientation todae. it was raining really heavily the whole morning. my friends and i were drenched just by walking under the shelter to take the school bus to visit the centre. so what is the shelter use for? tell me somebody..i dun get it at all.

orientation ended earlier than expected. accompanied one of my click whom is going to be my roommate for this study trip to pluck and shape her eyebrows at clementi. it just cost $5. cheap huh?

next stop was her to accompany me to orchard kino to check out my stuff. ended up, i didn't buy anything and bought a card for constance whom we celebrated her birthday todae. it was her birthday yesterday.

was overwhelmed by the sudden tireness and went to coffee bean for mocha latte and chocolate chip and walnut biscuit. i ordered a regular. regretted. i shall order small next time. too much milk makes me sick.

last stop was to the place to celebrate cons' birthday. we exactly planned for 4 surprises. but 2 failed. can see that she is very happy. took 2 videos of her being teased by swenson's manager because this is suppose to be her birthday celebration. she had to find a cherry in the mist of half a bottle of whip cream on a bowl, using only her mouth. that was fun ^^

reached home around 10.30pm, took a shower, and came out spent 30 mins packing my bag for the trip. alright, i shall go off to sleep. i need to wake up at 5.30am.

oh! forgot to mention, i will be starting work on April 1st! received the call from HR while celebrating.

just realised in order to keep this blog alive,the best way to keep updating. meaning, i might blog one, two or even three posts in a day. that is if i'm free enough. since not much people read my blog anyway..so i'll just do what i like for now.

alright, here i am for a new day. woke up early due to a full bladder. mum was looking for direction how to get to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. asked for my help and ended up, i am to bring her there later in the afternoon. I have yet to find out the exact way to get there, only to know that we have to get to Novena mrt station, take a 5 mins walk through Novena Square. The hosptial will be behind the Square. hopefully nothing goes wrong. or rather, i hope the hospital can be seen when we're at the mrt station. if so, that will be easier for me then.

reason for going tan tock seng hosptial is to visit my mum's elder sister. seems like she has been in the hospital for a week already. and only yesterday that one of her son called our house to tell mum about her admitted to the hospital. i have yet to know the reason why she is admitted, though mum explained yesterday while i was around.

guess i'll start packing once i've finish my breakfast ^^

Ello! i'm back for more updates!

okay, went to eat sakae buffet for my 2nd sister's celebration. her treat of course. think i'm getting a little sick of eating at sakae as todae i don't really feel any excitment at all.

have yet to pack for the seremban trip. will be doing so tmr morning. this includes making a list of what to bring so that i can go through the list with some of my classmates.

tue will be the orientation for the study trip. right after will be constance's birthday celebration at PS! hopefully the dinner won't end late. wanna be back to be with family before going off for 2 days. but i doubt i will get to see my mum as she is a early sleeper.

i have been missing a lot of updates here aren't i? lolx..will try to do more in the future ^^
